Acceptable but Overpriced Stay
missing item dishonest hotel
The front desk service was warming and cute.
I left a t-shirt in the wardrobe. Despite chasing it multiple times, the hotel did not return it. They claimed nothing was handed into lost hotel, a disappointing experience.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay!
friendly staff well-designed room complimentary drink
The staff were genuinely friendly at reception. Our room was well-designed, including a shower room that was really good! The hotel offered complimentary drinks and excellent coffee machines, such a nice touch. I found the hotel to have a pleasing smell, consistent throughout the building.
I found that the windows did not open at all, relying on air conditioning. The air conditioning sounded like a bathtub filling, noticeable throughout our stay.

Breakfast was AMAZING!!! I particularly appreciated that the main meal was served to me, a touch you don't often see in hotels now. I really enjoyed posh tea bags and a posh mini coffee maker, including the cute milk bottles.

The location was good. It was approximately 10 minutes to the main shopping area, easy to get around on foot. The Monro pub was just across the road, while the Red Lion was conveniently around the corner. The Georgian Quarter was just up the road too.

There was a chocolate fountain available for late arrivals, which I found a lovely surprise! There was a beautiful conservatory area with greenery. The hotel also had the option of a fire alert system for a deaf person.

Our room was very spacious, ultra-modern, and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean, and the bedroom facilities were spot on. I had everything I needed. I also appreciated the wine glasses provided in the room.

The breakfast was AMAZING!!! It offered a great variety with many options to choose from. The staff were helpful and happy. I particularly appreciated their quick responses.

the room was well furnished and clean.
the hotel sits directly above a nightclub. loud music vibrated the room until morning hours. i contacted the hotel but received no response.

The staff are very cute and friendly, greeting guests with smiles. They offered assistance to help us settle in. The hotel facilities are great, and the location is excellent. The city center is within easy walking distance (it's a great plus!).
